Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus are significant yet under-recognized public health challenges in Ghana, affecting many individuals. Limited awareness, inadequate healthcare support, and minimal public discourse exacerbate the struggles faced by those affected. As a non-profit organization, we have supported over 200+ individuals accessing successful surgeries and organized clean intermittent catheterization (CIC) training and workshops for healthcare professionals and caregivers nationwide. We have established the House of Hope to enhance the management of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in Kumasi. This center is a vital link between families, caregivers, and the hospital, providing safe and supportive environments for children and their families before, during, and after surgery. Beyond accommodation, House of Hope offers holistic support to improve care coordination and outcomes. If you share our vision of empowering lives and inspiring hope of spina bifida and hydrocephalus in Ghana, please support our work. Thank you for your consideration.
